I came for a quick cheerful update. But without fail, first I read the other blogs. The passing of a sweet boy from cancer. The memories of a child lost to HLHS. Goodness, by the time I get to our blog, I feel like I'm crawling in on my knees burdened by overwhelming, heavy, relentless gratitude for myriad of undeserved moments other parents will not share. My thoughts and reflections on the smallest, minute parts of our days are magnified infinitely through a lense of others' loss. Dear God... never let me take this for granted.
